CLI

The eyeban binary entry points for headless and host workflows — not a separate published package yet.

The eyeban binary includes command-line entry points used with the desktop product. A separate standalone CLI package is not published yet; use the desktop binary from the Download page.

Common invocations

Typical flags and subcommands include:

  • --headless — run without the full UI where supported
  • serve — serve local capabilities (often paired with Local API workflows)
  • status — print status information
  • open — open a folder/workspace path
  • agent — agent-related headless operations
  • git — git helpers exposed to the CLI surface
  • fs — filesystem helpers
  • install-host — install the remote host helper under ~/.eyeban-server/bin
  • tunnel — tunnel-related remote workflow support
  • --host — target a remote host where applicable

Exact flags evolve with the shipping binary; run the binary’s help for the build you have.

Remote host notes

install-host expects a supported remote architecture (linux-x64, linux-arm64, windows-x64). Windows arm64 host binaries are not supported. A working OpenSSH client on the local machine is required.

Headless expectations

Headless mode is for automation and remote helpers, not a replacement for reviewing diffs in the workbench. Keep permissions conservative when scripting agent runs.

Safety

Do not pipe unknown scripts into your shell and call them Eyeban. Prefer official Download artifacts and checksums.
