FAQ
Concrete answers about the product, download, platforms, payment, privacy, keys, modes, and enterprise.
Product
What is Eyeban? A native desktop AI coding workbench with a cloud coding agent, bilingual English and فارسی docs and site. It is not a browser IDE.
Download and version
Is there a download? Yes — Windows Setup and Linux .deb are on the Download page. Each download button always serves the latest published build for that platform. Prefer the SHA-256 shown there.
Platforms
Which platforms? Windows-first, Linux supported, macOS in progress. Computer Use is strongest on Windows.
Payment
How do I pay? Create an account and use the Pricing page. Plans include Free, Pro, Ultra, and Enterprise. Domestic card flows may use Zarinpal with تومان pricing as shown on Pricing. Enterprise is custom — Contact us.
Privacy
How is my code used? Necessary context may go to api.eyeban.ir. Privacy modes include off, no_training, and no_storage. Read Privacy Policy and AI and data use for binding terms.
API keys
Can I bring my own provider keys? Yes — bring-your-own-key (Cursor-shaped proxy) under Settings → Agents. The key stays on the device and is sent with each Agent turn through api.eyeban.ir; plan credits are not charged for that turn. Cursor-pool models still use Eyeban accounts.
Modes
Which mode should I use? Agent to implement, Plan to design (soft-blocked shell/edits except markdown), Ask for read-only Q&A, Debug for evidence-backed investigation.
Local API and CLI
Is there a public HTTP API for third parties? The cloud backend is the app backend, not a general public platform. A Local API on 127.0.0.1:17300 exists for same-machine tooling. CLI entry points ship with the eyeban binary; a separate CLI package is not published yet.
Enterprise
Can teams evaluate? Yes — Contact with the enterprise topic for evaluation, security review, or procurement questions.
